Look outside your window. Does it resemble the grey hazy sky Bella was gazing at after Edward left her for months on end? Walking outside to find out it is raining cats and dogs can discourage anyone from looking cute that day. I know I’m always tempted to throw on sweatpants and a t-shirt, but today I opted out for something casual yet comfy.
I snagged my favorite pair of black skinny jeans, the most comfortable white t, and to add some color to this gloomy day, I laced up my new green Dr. Martens (which are now almost 50% off!!) I tied together this tan trench (alternative tan trench 1, alternative tan trench 2) and was ready to take on whatever the weather decide to throw at me.
I’m pretty sure I’m in love with this simple outfit for the fact that anyone, anywhere can wear it; it brings together all the staple pieces of your closet.
If you don’t have a pair of rain boots or rain jacket to throw on, don’t fret, and definitely don’t give in to those sweatpants! This next outfit is the definition of cozy street style.
I’m so obsessed with this oversized denim jacket. Unfortunately Cotton On seems to have sold out of this one, but Topshop has an almost identical one here. This item can be paired with virtually anything, and isn’t going out of style anytime soon. I’ve also seen this jacket from Zara, Urban Outfitters, and Free People, so keep your eyes peeled!
Once again, we paired distressed black skinny jeans with a plain distressed t-shirt for optimal comfort. We decided to switch out the rain boots and pair this outfit with a pair of black Adidas Gazelles.
*I’ve linked all these items to places you can order online, however, keep in mind your local T.J. Maxx and Marshall’s carry Paige Denim and James Perse items at a fraction of the cost!
*The linked Adidas are kid sizes because women between a size 5-7 can fit into these shoes for cheaper than the adult replicas!
Keep dry, and thanks for reading!
