One Dress, Two Ways

Happy Monday! Also known as what God gave us to punish for our weekend doings (like the Millers would agree, no regrets!) Today I put together two ways to wear the same styled dress, either casual or a boho styled look.

A reason I love spring is because it’s a chance to wear transitional clothing that you can mix and match contrasting colors and different materials. Today’s feature will be on the newly popular (thanks Kylie and others) cami dress! Both these styles are perfect from going to class, brunch, or a day strolling downtown.

Seriously, you would never know we were wearing the same dress unless you were reading this!

I ordered this dress from Missguided a few months back and unfortunately they are out of both colors, however, it’s on mega sale in blue, orange (with choker), and in this stunning silver. I paired it with a plain white t-shirt underneath. I would also suggest a white t-shirt bodysuit so you don’t end up with t-shirt lines!

I paired the dress with a long line denim jacket (go figure) that I picked up from Pacsun’s blue dot sale (70 % off!) This destroyed denim jacket from Forever21 is a perfect dupe for mine (it’s on sale with free shipping too!) I added my Adidas Superstars that paired nicely with my white tee.

I love this dress because it’s perfect for all body types. I’m 5’8, and finding things that look good me and my shorter 5’3 models (friends) is almost impossible. It’s so easy to throw on and pair with practically all kinds of jacket and shoe combinations. I added my Ray Bans and this super cute Betsey Johnson skull necklace for the finishing touches.

For Amy I paired the pink cami dress with this super cute cargo longline vest I bought from Saks Fifth’s Free People Section. I absolutely love how complimentary this color palette is for spring. I searched and found this Embroidered Cargo Vest that Free People has right now that is a perfect match for mine! If you like the mustard color then pairing it with this Free People Suede Jacket is the way to go. Its ruffle sleeves add a girly pop, and is perfect for those cooler spring evenings.

The brown gladiators were the perfect sandals to finish this boho look off.

Thanks for reading tonight!

xx, Sav!
